I have brought multiple cars to Central automotive. And they have been great! Very Knowledgeable and got our cars to where we need to go. And very reasonable on price.

Did a great job on my car and went above and beyond to communicate and work around my schedule. Couldn’t recommend them enough. On top of that they are very transparent on price and the work that they do.

We had booked a pre-buy inspection last week and were treated very friendly, professional and honest. We very much appreciated the good advice given by Israel Armenta and his competence.

Was referred to this shop and initially spoke with Matt, and later worked with Israel. I had a unique request but the work was simple. What stood out to me was that I was ready to spend additional hundreds of dollars replacing a part on my car that the dealer said I needed, but was told to wait and explained why I may not need it and sure enough they were right. Saved me a nice chunk of cash not replacing a part I thought needed to be replaced.

My husband and I have taken our cars here for years and have always had good experiences with Matt and Israel and their team. They are kind, communicate well, respectful, and their pricing is very reasonable. We always appreciate the detailed estimates/photos ahead of time. We’ve gone to them for general maintenance to unexpected issues like someone vandalizing the bottom of my old Toyota to try and get a catalytic converter out. They are so helpful and we’re really grateful they’re here.

The best shop around. Matt is always honest and up front with you, Isreal too. They do a full inspection first and send you a detailed report, with pictures. Then they tell you exactly what's wrong with your car and what needs to be done to fix it right. I've never had a bad experience here and I've been a customer for many years. They actually have the best interest of the customer in mind and don't cut corners or sell you used parts, unlike any other mechanic I've ever used. I won't take my car anywhere else. If you want it done right, give them a call. 5 stars!

Everytime I bring my car to this place I feel very confident the guys are going to take good care of it. Everyone here is very knowledgeable, friendly and honest. You need work done on your car, bring it here. You'll be glad you did! 👍

I brought my Truck to Matthew for new brake pads, rotors, fluid and new Tires. I needed it to be done quickly for a trip I had planned and not only did the job get done fast, but Matthew gave me great advice on tires and had a cool way to show me updates via text. Great experience!

I came to Central Automotive last year when my car had some issues shifting gears. I had an extended service contract that I'd never used before but Israel and Matt helped me through the process. They were amazing, really advocating for me with the service contract company to get me the best coverage, and my car came back running really well. I came back for a 60k service last week, and they identified the source of some issues I had noticed with the car. They once again advocated for me with the extended service contract company and did all the legwork to get me the best coverage. I appreciate that they go the extra mile to take care of customers, even giving me a ride to the BART Station when I drop my car off, and picking me up when my car is ready. Definitely planning to keep coming to Central Automotive from now on for any service and repairs.
