I'm new to the area and brought my 19 year old Ford Explorer (approx. 175K miles) to Central for its regular service, but also to see if they'd be a good fit as a long term service shop. I dealt mainly with Chuck, who gets a gold star for communication skills and making me feel like a valued customer. They conducted a thorough exam and diagnostic and presented me with a full list of repair recommendations, clearly ranked in terms of priority. Some of these were things I never thought I could ever get done on the car due to its age and the costs involved, but Chuck presented attractive estimates that has made me rethink all that.They needed the car a day or two longer than originally planned, which didn't bother me since I know it required some serious maintenance love. But again, this was all very clearly communicated and nothing came as a surprise.I'm happy to say the car drives GREAT now -- like a car half its age and miles. I'm glad to have found a service partner to help keep my Explorer on the road for many more miles.
