Have been to the dealer service departments of several different brands and have found they recommend unnecessary work, one even sabotaged my car for future work..."see, told you it was going to break.." I used to work on cars professionally, but now am a cabinet maker... most repair places will exploit the fact that my trade is vastly different from theirs so they think I'm in the dark about things automotive. Central has never tried to take advantage of my apparent lack of automotive knowledge... they are upfront about what the car needs, or will need soon and will always tailor the maintenance of my vehicle to suit me, not them. Personable staff, friendly and did a great job, very impressive, my new service department.

I had an early appointment to the DMV to transfer an out-of-state registration to California and forgot a smog check. I called up Central Automotive at 7:40am for a walk-in and Rob got me in right away and complete the smog check by 8:15am, in time for my DMV appointment. Excellent work and great customer service!

The work was done in reasonable time and so far, so good. We dealt with friendly people who listened and didn't try to push other services on us.
